Thanks, the machine shop is my garage. ;D I will blast the comp with 70 grit aluminum oxide, then use an air brush for the Ceracoat. I have always used duracoat, trying something different.

After installing the licensed air-soft version of the Troy Extreme Battle Rail, my Colt compensator didn't fit - it's OD was too big to fit inside the battle rail. Turned the comp down .0015" and it fits great. Still have to Cerro-coat the comp.

Have a lightly used Bushnell Trophy scope for sale, 1.75-4x32 - Circle-X reticle. I had this mounted on a .22wmr rifle, and decided I wanted something with a bit more zoom-in power. It is in the box, comes with Butler Creek flip-up covers, and a good set of low rings. No dings or scratches, just a few witness marks from mounting. This is an excellent bush or turkey scope. Asking $70 and you pay the shipping. The glass is clear and sharp, don't let my bad picture taking fool you. ;D

The only money I spent there was the entrance fee. Toledo's gun shows are..... strange. 98% of the vendors are all members of the same club, and their prices are very high. But I usually find something to buy. :-[

Well, except for the flyer, which was probably all me, the Federal group measured less than 1.5 inches... At 50 yds, I am happy with that. It is bulk ammo, and the price is right. I had one bad box of Federal bulk a few years ago, (which Federal offered to replace at no cost), other than that, I think it is great plinking ammo. Every time I go to WalMart, seems like I get another box or two. Winchester SuperX and Dynapoint is also good stuff. CCI is mighty fine, but can be pricey. I don't much care for Remington in semi autos, but it is fine in my bolt actions. TM

I went to the gun show this morning, and saw something new to me - a composite AR lower. Anyone have any experience or comments on these? Seemed well made, it won't show wear or scratches like an aluminum one would, and the price was right, $160 for a complete assembled lower with buffer & stock. Thanks, TM
