Hey Buddy, I just sent it out today, USPS Priority. Hope to get it back in a 7 to 10 days. (I hate to open the one gun safe - poor little M-4 in pieces). TM
As far as I know, shooting reloads voids all manufactures warranties. It is possible that there was a round fired that exceeded max pressure and damaged the firearm. TM
No good deed goes unpunished. I think you did the right thing - offer to have it repaired, if he blows you off, oh well. One question - was he shooting reloads? If yes, all bets and warranties are off. TM
My first was an old bolt action JC Higgins - was my Grandfather's. Passed it to my daughter in '01. She never got into hunting, but liked target shooting. At 25 yards she would keep using the same hole in the target... TM
Hey Sam - I have the Colt M-4 and really like it - but a few of the gadgets are only cosmetic - like the forward assist and mag catch. It is after all a blow back action in an AR shroud. I purchased mine thru Gallery of Guns - let's you shop online for the lowest price in your area. http://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/default.aspx TM
Supposed to be sunny, and 60-ish. Frost warning last night.... Have to sight in a Savage .22 for a friend, and play with my Colt. Paper targets beware! TM :sniper:
Hey guys - I am mounting a scope on a 10-22 for a buddy, and I have never seen a 10-22 with this great looking walnut stock. Have any of you seen this? It also has a cap on the grip, with a Ruger emblem. The owner doesn't know, he inherited it. The metal appears to be standard 10-22 Carbine, no special markings. Thanks, TM
I have been a Life Member for a long time, also a NRA instructor. I do get tired of the constant fund raising, but it is for a GREAT cause. Try it for a year, if you like it, please consider life membership. :thumb: TM
