  1. Hey. No hair here agrees gray hair better than cold head. ;D Welcome and glad you are here! TM :thumb:
  2. Very Cool - Gotta have one. TM
  3. I have some KleanBore boxes, may have to see what they go for. They belonged to a friend in California, I went shooting with him once and he shot the ammo and tossed the boxes. TM
  4. Actually the recommended method is to squirt some oil in the case & let it soak. The oil will make the primer inactive. Most times, a primed pistol case that has had an insertion problem is deformed and will not chamber, so firing is not usually an option. If you want to recover the brass, you can safely de-prime it after 24 hours of oil soak. I don't bother, I just soak them and toss them into the brass recycle bin. TM PS to Asmurff - fun, aint it??
  5. Ah, Beautiful Oxnard. Was there to offload ammo once. Had to stay overnight. I don't remember it as a great liberty port. Do remember a good EM Club there. TM
  6. Welcome Lee! I was stationed at Treasure Ils. for a while.Where are ya? TM
  7. Outstanding! I am from Texas, and you live in a Great State. You must make it to the State Fair in Dallas next year. And welcome to the site!! TM PS - Texas MUST be capitalized.
  8. Sweet! :thumb: TM
  9. It was nice here - 45 or so. Would have liked to get out to the range, but have just got the Local's web site up, and was working this weekend to get email accounts set up and running. Trying to get as much done before it gets REALLY nice outside. TM PS to Drew - thanks for the really GREAT advice about AllWebCo - have received really good customer service from them.
  10. Oh man, First it was Drew asking us to look at his meat. Now MG is letting us know he "giggles like a little girl." <sigh> This does not bode well. TM
  11. Made in America - Brooklyn I believe..!! :thumb: TM

  16. Now this is cool - a Mk III with a 1911 style grip. http://www.gunblast.com/Ruger-2245RP.htm Would like to shoot one! TM
  17. Are you hooked on a dot sight? I have THIS on my Colt M4 OPS. I REALLY like it. Nice price too. Zero'd @ 50yds, @9x one dot up gets bulls at 100yds. TM
  18. Hi Rudy and Welcome! I lived in kalifornia for 30 years, worked for Intel for 15 years. Moved back to Ohio as the gun laws got way to restrictive. As I am sure you know! TM
  19. I have noticed the echo lately.... TM
  20. If you read the description it sounds real good - reduced fatigue when spending a long time in the ready position. Probably won't be doing a lot of that with my .22 ;D. I would like to try one - it seems it would be more natural to hold the forearm that way. But it also looks to take up a bunch of rail space... TM
  21. And we know just how fragile our gun rights are. I lived in Kalifornia for 30 years - it was a constant erosion of rights, new laws, restrictions, ect. I woke up one day to find that the Sacramento County Supervisors had decided to make Sacramento County a "no-shoot zone". 994 square miles, mostly farm land. Can't shoot or hunt anymore. I don't live there anymore. TM
  22. :thumb: TM
  23. Looking good!
  24. Welcome Wad! TM
