Cool. I know that Ruger now makes many products including Calloway golf clubs in their Pinetree Castings division, who also casts Ruger's gun parts as well.
I want replacement bolt knobs for my Anschutz's (I hate the plastic knobs they came with), a threaded muzzle adapter for my S&W 2206 and I'm still talking myself into a S&W M&P15-22 threaded barrel.
Leave the firearms to the NRA, if you support them. The other items to the charities those orgs are associated with. Your name shall be inscribed and you will live forever.
Got me beat all to hell. I've had a couple bad spells in my life where I've been forced to sell dozens of firearms. Some of them very fine firearms. Doo Doo occurs.
Firearms are ALWAYS worth more in original condition. Maybe not today but someday. You could be destroying a valuable antique for your great grandchildren.
There used to be a shooting game played somewhere in the US where benchrest shooters would fire .22's at golf balls mounted on tees at different ranges. Directly behind the ball would be a vertical plywood backstop with a hole slightly larger than the ball. The object, knock the ball through the hole with the shot. The catch, the ball is offset to the hole so you'll have to use english as in billiards. I want to try this game someday.
