About par for the course. They have been pretty much marginilized the last few years and their legislative agaenda is all but dead in many areas. It kinda reminds me a a pro guns disaster of the month tactics of the past.
My locl WalMart is still sellign Fedeall 550's for $14.99. I was told they will have them on sale fo 3 dollars off soon. The clerk took my number and will call me when the sale hits.
I wonder when they will be out. My local dealer has no clue from S&W and they also cannot let any of the new Kimbers leave the store yet. What gives on both fronts???
My son and I just got back form our local indoor range. On the rifle range this morning were 9 22LR shooters. My son and I had our S&W 15-22. 2 Henrys, 3 Marlins's and a pair of Sigs. It was really strange that only 22's were on the range this morning.
Excellent museum. If you are ever out here in the Sooner Nation (OK) make a trip to the largest private firearms museum in the world in Claremore OK. The J.M. Davis Museum.
Really just about a tie for me, however the S&W won out because of the overall "feel" of the weapon. It just felt better in my hands. I know it is not scientific but it is what it is.
Agree with imschur. Both are fun weapons and will give you years of service and enjoyment. I do not own the Colt but have fired one and it is just as much fun as my GSG.
Target impact and location of impact is ALL that matters. Even as deadly as a 22LC can be a hit in the foot will stop nobody from continuing their deadly assault been there seen that. As KB said the only sure fire method is to disconnetc the brain from the body as high up the spinal column as possible. Close range shotgun hits are nasty and generally fatal more often than not.
