Good...Some new candidates for the Darwin awards. Although any new candidates will be hard pressed to beat the guy that played russian roulette, with a fully loaded semi-auto.. ;D
I may be right... From Wiki.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullet_Catch Actual quote from the Wiki article.. In April, 1980, a magician named Carl Skenes attempted what is the only verified performance of the bullet-catch using a .22 rifle firing actual bullets.[citation needed] Skenes wore a tooth-guard mouthpiece, and then placed a steel box into his mouth. A sharpshooter then fired the bullet into the dime-sized opening at the front of the box. Skenes first performed this stunt in 1980 on the television show That's Incredible, and later performed it on similar shows in Puerto Rico, Japan, and Venezuela. The .22 rifle was mounted onto two gun stands to help keep it steady, and the protective gear and target box he placed into his mouth were put in as part of the performance.[citation needed] David Blaine used this same method with Carl Skenes' assistance in September 2008 as part of the "Dive of Death" special, calling it an effect and an illusion.[5] Whatever method..You aint going to get this poor Mississippi/Texas boy to do it..
I watched this the other night. I don't know..Camera trickery??? Ultra Subsonic round?? Majic??? ;D
My personal feeling, especially with the slow speed camera work showing the flight and impact....... Ultra subsonic round. Round appears to be 22 short, but I'd bet he handloaded with hardly any powder. And I think he's actually crazy enough to try it..But that's me..What do you guys think??
I think the KelTek is an imaginary gun like their PMR30..You hear about them, but you can't find one... ;D The 1st time I took my Judge to the range I loaded it with #6. And set the target up at 7yards. The people on each side of me were a little peaved as it not only tore my target up, but theirs as well... ;D
I was expecting the worse when I was up your way, and was pleasantly surprised. Still had to walk my A$$ off, but after my 3rd trip to Arlington cemetary in 30 years, I finally made it to the top of the hill and toured Robert E Lee's mansion. It was worth it.. 8)
Left the 14th and just got back.. 1st to my nephews wedding in Tom's River NJ. Hung out a couple of days, saw the jersey shore. Then 3 days messing around Manhattan. Then 2 days in Philly. Then off to DC with the inlaws for Christmas. Kissed the ground when I finally got off the plane in Houston Texas. Saved my vacation days all year for this trip, but the family and kiddo had a ball.
While waiting on the death penalty, which will take about 20 years to fulfill, Hopefully they put them in GP.. Even convicts got a code of honor. Those 2 wont make it 2 weeks in general population, thereby saving having to feed them for 20 years. Freakn' animals.
