I've been all around the country, but south side Chicago, really stands out. Was working on an elevator at the Juvenile Detention Center, and just about dusk you could hear gunfire start going off around the neighboorhood. About a half hour later a uniformed officer came up to the roof where we were working and asked. "Are any of you parked out in the street in front of the police station?" The guy I rode with said "Yeah". The officer informed him. "I would highly reccomend you move your car to the police parking garage as we cannot guarantee it's safety parked IN FRONT of the police station".

As documented elsewhere on this site... Ah...A day at the range..' Had my 40 and 45 out, and accidently loaded the 45 mag with 40. Shot the 15 round clip, and kept wondering..."Damn...My groupings sure have gone to crap".. That's when I figured it out.. ::)

Nothing surprises me in this town. Years ago I took care of the Houston Police Department Headquarters on Reisner Street. Couple of cops come up to another cop in the lobby... "Hey...I didn't know you were going to get new T-Tops for your vette?" Other cop responds "I'm not!!!" They take off to the police parking garage catch the 2 crooks red handed. I watched them bring them in, in cuffs, with the cops telling them what dumb ass's they are.. ;D

Go to Wal Mart and price ammo.... 200 rounds of 223 center fire is about $100.00 550 rounds of 22lr rim fire is about $15.00 I love shooting the 223, but the 22 rim fire is cheap enough that you can fire round after round, sharpening your skills for very little money, and from the sound of your post that's what you're after... BTW... I love my 92 FS as well...You need to take it out and shoot it...

I don't know if you guys caught this or not, but it happened a few months ago down here...Guy walks out of his house, sees his elderly neighbor being assaulted by 3 hoods, Grabs his what look likes a "Desert Eagle?" And rescues the old man, and holds the thugs, at gunpoint untill the police arrive... His comment to the media.... "Not On My Watch"!!! I'm sure Drew can answer this better than me, but a lot of my colleagues live and work in CT. I'm told to own a handgun you have to through 3 kinds of hell, and at the end you get the privelage of driving around with the handgun in pieces, in the trunk..
