imschur Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 Holy cow check out these chamberings. I suspect that "Biggest Finest Revolver" is not what the "BFR" acronym really means I think it is "Big F*cking Revolver"
lmao_37 Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 Dang you'll need arms like Arnie to fire one of these, i cant wait to see these on lock n load, R Lee Ermy fired a S&W 500 on the show and they showed it in slow mo and it looked like it had some real recoil i cant wait to see someone shoot these.
imschur Posted September 6, 2010 Author Report Posted September 6, 2010 Have you ever seen a .444 Marlin or 45-70 cartridge in person? They are friggin substantial. They wallop you good in a lever action rifle...

lmao_37 Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 Bear and anti-tank handguns >:DWe all need home defence artillery...... why don't they go full hog and do a .50 bmg ?
asmurff Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 You know bmg doesn't really stand for Browning Machine Gun, but for the effect it has on those who realize one is being fired at them therefore bmg = Bowel Movement Gun

Microgunner Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I suspect that "Biggest Finest Revolver" is not what the "BFR" acronym really means I think it is "Big F*cking Revolver"You've hit the nail on the head. "Big F**king Revolver" was the project's pet name during development. Name stuck so they invented an alternate meaning.
rodent.22 Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 Here's some rounds for size comparison, I tossed the change in for scale.... from L to R - .22 Magnum, .223, .35 Remington, .38/55 Winchester, .45/70 Government, .45 Long Colt, .44 S&W Special, .45 ACP, .38 S&W Special, .38 Special hollowpoint, .9mm, .32 H&R Magnum.....
