imschur Posted November 21, 2010 Report Posted November 21, 2010 I see Brownells carries eleven different colors of camo spray paint. In addition to paint they have these nifty camo stencils. it looks like it could make for a fun project. Thinking too that for a firearm that sees a lot of use maybe cerakote could be used in place of paint.I wonder how difficult it is for a jittery highly caffeinated individual.
rodent.22 Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 I missed this post, Drew. Did you ever try any of these stencils?
imschur Posted April 2, 2011 Author Report Posted April 2, 2011 Im just not sure Im that talented. I have been thinking of building an oven to try my hand at Cerakote
rodent.22 Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 yeah I've heard a lot of good about it....
George Wood Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 Is this so if you lay your gun down you cannot find it again? ::)

98Z5V Posted June 5, 2012 Report Posted June 5, 2012 Is this so if you lay your gun down you cannot find it again? ::)If you lay down with your gun, you don't want others to see you... :o :beer:Savage FV-SR, Boyd's Tacticool stock, Nikon 3-9x40 150 BDC scope, Aervoe paint in many different dirt colors, to match my dirt environment... :thumb:

98Z5V Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 Looks good bro, haven't heard of that paint :confused:Is it better than krylon?IMHO, yes. I have a Krylon'd AR. It has held up well, considering it's been moderately used, and I painted it sometime over the summer in 2010. This paint just feels far more durable than the Krylon. Time will tell, but initial impression is that it's very good. They primarily do industrial-application types of things, and so far that's exactly what it seems like - industrial. Here's a link to their paint products:http://www.aervoe.com/paints_coatings/Paints-and-Coatings/
imschur Posted June 10, 2012 Author Report Posted June 10, 2012 Is there a hardwood floor and dust bunny paint scheme? Tabby cat?
