I caved in today and bought something I really had no need for a pistol size cross bow. Eighty pound draw, but has a easy to use cocking device. Getting the bow string on was a major chore, involving a vice and tie down strap.

I think I'd need to make one, or downsize a full size crossbow sling.

Just remember to keep your fingers BELOW the bowstring.....they will take fingertips off.....easily. I've seen so many people do that.
