  1. Hey they send me more catalogs than anyone else, saves me from having to look at the Harriet Carter one or read the National Enquirer in the john. As long as you remember to read the cloths discription closely many are seconds but they tell you at least.
  2. Well the cost per unit will always be a major factor in the choice for weapons for the military.
  3. This has been a very interesting conversation with well resoned statements (except mine) all around and ones to ponder.
  4. bump bump eeerrt bump bump had to go to reverse to get them twice. Seriously the punishment allowed by law for this type of thieft needs to be increase drastically.
  5. I buy from Sportsman Guide also, but no enough to join the club. They have good prices most of the time.
  6. That would be why I couldn't get in this morning I assume.
  7. Well since most people using a handgun in self defense empty the magazine should the question be 10 .22s, 15 9mms or 8 .45s ;D Sorry had to be the smart alec.

  14. The gun shop I use always has one or two of those as it is one of the owners favorite, I've got to play but not shot one.
  15. The commerically made composters work well from what I've been told by otherswho have backyard gardens, but they are pricey. You can make one from a 55 gallon drum. Of course most of the older people doing compost swear the piles or piles work better. I do neither since, I don't get enough leaves or grass clippings to get one going, plus being dry NM I'd have to water a pile at least weekly. http://www.flickr.com/photos/laj2006/171922553/
  16. Rifleman magazine has an article this month on Tactical.22 on the market. http://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/tactical-22-rifles
  17. These new pat downs are assault. I have a pacemaker/difibulator in my right front shoulder, so I can't go thru the metal detectors, scanners or be wanded as all these can damage the device, so I always get patted down, but the videos I've seen of the pat downs they are doing now is nothing like those I've had in the past. I agree with BD this is a smokescreen to make Americans feel it is safe to fly. Until be move to the point we are doing extra checking on the ones most likely to try and cause harm and stop being PC it ain't going to be safe. Quite frankly I'm tired of going thru the pat down at the security checkpoint and then again at the gate as the pick the middle age white guy to prove they aren't profiling. I say profile by all means, the Muslims don't like to bad.

    Tune-up

I went to the range for a couple of hours today to tune up myself for Saturdays Tactical .22 match. Mainly I wanted to see what it was going to be like to shoot in winter coveralls and a heavy jacket. No to bad, actually easier than in military parka, parka pants and mickey mouse boots and they wanted me to run roflmao.
