I think the first time I saw it was in HS on The Shanling All Night Theater in Cincinati when it had a Bogart night.

Nice thing about the camera bug is you can still do so many other things and still do it at the same time. My grandfather was a professional photographer and I doubt there was ever a time there wasn't a camera within easy reach. He mostly work for the Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland and took photos and films of the their testing.

I just got to play with the ATI AK47 .22lr that I believe is what imao has. I was pleasantly suprised it seemed well constructed, can say as I cared fro the sights, but that is a personal thing. Sure wish the'd carry the ATI 1911 .22s.. To bad they don't have a range attached or I'd have been there the rest of the day >:D

I hope you at least got dinner out of it.

I pay $160 a year for our club membership, all outdoors of course. The Albuquerque Shooting Park the only public outdoor range I know of charges $6 a day, it is okay durig the week, but on weekends it is insane also. The only indoor range I know of charges $20 a day or they have an annual membership for $249.99, with bennies of $5 dollar pistol and rifle rentals (normally $10 & $15) free targets, hearing & eye protection and some other stuff related to purchasing weapons. The also have Uzi and Mac10 full autos to rent, hmmmm might have to go play didn't know that. Hope the comparsions help.

Yesterday I purchased some A-Zoom rounds to work on a couple of procedural issues I encountered while shooting in my match on Saturday. I pulled them out last night and realized they are loading and proving rounds only, I thought I'd bought snap caps. In the short run for what I want to practice (removing the chamber safe indicator, loading the magazine into the rifle, chambering the first round and switching from safe to fire all while standing in the shooters box) they willl work fine. I just didn't realize there were 2 kinds of dummy round on the market.

We had a guy at the tactical .22 match Saturday who was using Remington ammo in a 597 and having a terrible time with feeding and extracting issues. I'd just bought it so it might have been breaking in issues.

>:D You always will need one more 1911

What do they charge just to walk in? The free gun rentals look attractive if they have a good selection. I guess a lot would have to do with would you go enough to make it worthwhile. PS Since I don't live in the east, I have trouble judging if things are to expensive.

THE PATRIOTIC MICRO CHIP is intended to be implanted in terrorists. The implant is specifically designed to be injected in the forehead. When properly installed, it will allow the one who is implanted to speak to God. The exact size of the implant will be selected by a well-trained and highly skilled technician, who will also make the injection. No anesthetic is required. The implant may or may not be painless. Side effects, like headaches and nausea, aches, and pains are extremely temporary. Some bleeding or swelling may occur at the injection site. In most cases, you won't even notice it.

I shot my second tactical .22 match this morning and did much better than the first time (I've been practicing with my spinner targets who's biggest target area is only 3 inches most of these are 6 inch). Sorry didn't get a copy of the stage set-ups this time, will try to next month. There were only 3 shooters there today but it was still lots of fun. We goofed off a bit afterwards and I got to shoot a GSG-5 one of the pre-lawsuit ones, very nice rifle. I also handled a S&W 500 Magnum, I swear it is almost as heavy as my 10/22. I'm glad he didn't offer to let me shoot it cause I'd have been a coward and declined, I have enough problems with the arthritis in my wirst without shooting handcannons :P

My Grandfather owned a 1700's Blunderbus (sp) shotgun (he used to clamp it in a vise each 4th of July load it with powder, wads and confetti and set it off) it was suppose to go to me, but it disappeared when my drug crazed cousin lived with him. He taught me in my teens how to make gunpowder for it from scratch. I recently realized a flintlock would be the ultimate world went to hell gun! Honestly, I'm not a survival nut it was just a random thought and I went looking on line and wasn't sure I'd purchase one.

All problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives! >:D
