  1. Good perspective with it in the holster, doesn't stick up as much as I'd thought they would.
  2. I'm leaning very heavily towards one of the Mossberg 500 models, because there is so much diversity in barels and accessories, although it would have to have a stock, I've fired a pistol grip only and can't control it very well.
  3. Oh I'm not saying I wouldn't buy a used weapon, but before I did it would have to have a transferrable warranty and be something I'd had not only the chance to shoot but to strip down and inspect or better yet have my gunsmith inspect.
  4. Interesting question, I added a John Masen "Muzzle Brake" to my 10/22 just for appearance, and I haven't the means to measure any differences. I'm not sure I'm an experienced enough shooter for it to make a difference to me.
  5. I don't know it I go used on the shotgun, I was thinking a Mossberg 500/590 or Remington 870 ones I know here are lots of different lenght barrels for out there.
  6. Well first I want the AR, then I haven't decided if that or a new shotgun is next.
  7. I was in my local candy store (gun shop) today and got to play with a Mosquito :thumb: then I came home and found out they make one in Winter Digital Camo
  8. Does it qualify as an antique gun? It is pretty cool looking, were break tops ever very popular in the US. I know this English made a lot of them.
  9. Oh My God!!!!!
  10. I know our local PD and Sheriff both train there response teams with them, because I buy most of my guns and ammo from the same store they get them from.
  11. I've thought seriously about the airsoft model made by Caspian which matches my 3.5" Citadel 1911 almost to a T, the trigger pulls are within ounces of each other and it would be a whole lot cheaper to train with.
  12. Quick get her out of the gene pool
  13. Here is a pic of my club from Google Earth, $160 for the wife and I, plus each of us has 2 guest badges so we can take friends when they visit.
  14. I agree with you wholeheartly!
  15. >:( that sucks
  16. I bet that would solve the USA's rudeness problem fast. Plus we could get rid of some of the undesireable stock out of the gene pool >:D
  17. Glad to have you, great screen name.
  18. These remind me why I pay membership fees to shot at a private club. When I shot at the public range here in Albuquerque and gangstas showed up I'd quit till they were off the line which isn't long usually since their idea of shooting is just yanking the trigger as fast as they can. I will say the public range was very strict specially when those types showed up. People clearing jams scare the daylights out of me, gun pointed ever which away, fingers on triggers, even saw one look down the barrel just before the guy next him took the pistol. In the Ruger Rimfire and Tactical .22 Matches I'm just getting into the RSO has to clear jams or malfunctions not cleared by the first operating of the bolt, and if it can't be cleared the RSO must physically remove the weapon from the range.
  19. Dang now all I need is the AR >:D
  20. I want to see the answer to this also from those in the group who know far more about scopes than me, I'd never even used one until a year and a half ago.
  21. Nice detailed review. Suprisingly or maybe not it fits with what I feel is true with my 10/22, I've never kept that detailed a record. I like CCI Mini-Mags, which are cheaper than Stingers, I almost never have any feed issues and don't remember the last time I had one fail to fire. I do keep the original 10 round magazine from my rifle loaded with Stingers for coyotes, I live less than a 1/4 mile from open high country desert. It does seem to be the same preferences again and again throughout the .22 community.
  22. Pretty neat!
  23. American Rifleman had an article on the MAS 49-56this month which to me as an interesting read. http://www.americanrifleman.org/ArticlePage.aspx?id=2596&cid=8
