I own a Charles Daly Field Tactical Pump, I know poor choice they went out of business a bit over a year after I bought for home defense. I was very frustrated because I can't get much in the way of after market parts for it or even barrels of different lengths, but last week I did find something to add a light and laser to it. http://www.barska.com/General_Lasers-BARSKA_TACTICAL_RED_LASER_SIGHT_WITH_FLASHLIGHT_AN.html I know Barska may not be top of the line, but I didn't want to spend much on a shotgun I can do so very little with.

I think if you do it long enough you just don't notice the weight, unless it is somehow causing you pain. I carry 3 pounds with a 3.5" Citadel 1911 and two extra magazines. Pistol on the belt in a DeSantis Mini Slide holster, mags in leg pocket of my cargo pants. I've been doing it long enough now I don't really notice the weight, but am always aware of the gun. A Jeff Cooper said "Carrying a gun isn't suppose to be comfortable, it is suppose to be comforting>."

Finally got a chance to go to the range and try this ammo, it worked great in my 10/22 and I'll probably switch to using it for our tactical .22 matches.

I like the idea of putting these on the windshields of vehicles with Obama stickers, allows me to vent my spleen without going to jail. Hopefully it will prevent my urge to push Subarus and Smart Cars with Obama stickers out in front of fast moving semis using my pick up truck.

I had a snub nose .38 cap pistol that was so realistic, my Grandfather (who was a Baltimore County jail guard and auxiliary police officer who carried a S&W Model 10) took it from me the first time he saw it. Once he realised it was a toy he had no problem with it. Anyone remeber the spy guns and toys? I had a radio that transformed into a sub-machine gun.

Both good ideas! I know the model store here carries decal printer paper and a spray to coat them with to prevent the ink from running, I'll have to look to see if I can do the catalog pictures that way. I'll see how steady I can be with the pens, I may need stencils. I'll get to try several ideas since I want to make 4 or 5 boxes, for ammo and reloading supplies.

Does anyone know of a source for guns and ammo decals that can be used on woodworking. I'm going to make some ammo boxes and want to spruce them up.?

We had certain aircraft in the Air Force we were required to wear ear plugs and ear muffs if we were within so many feet. I wear both when shooting my 9mm or .45acps specially if I'm in our gun clubs close-in pistol bays because they have cinderblock walls and are only about 10 yards wide and hold the sound in.
