I had one for years when I lived in California - it was a very reliable shooter after I removed the mag safety. I agree, the longer barrel was fun out in the desert. I used to carry mine in my back pocket (around the house) and after a few years of sitting on it the frame broke. Sent it to the factory and they just replaced it. I ended up giving to I buddy. Excuse me, TRANSFERED it to a buddy. TM :thumb:

Thanks for the info - I have been very disappointed with both Winchester and Remington .22 ammo lately. I really like the accuracy of the BVAC, but I get 1 to 2 duds / 100. The Federal Value Pack is still a winner! TM

Just looked inside my grip- the NEW hole was actually to allow the Colt's hammer strut to be where it needs to be, and I had added a star washer, not a flat washer. Hope this helps. TM Sorry for the original bad info. Age sucks! Unless fortified with adult beverages. Then ya just don't care. :grin:

If I remember, I enlarged the mounting hole, and added a slightly longer mounting bolt and a large flat washer. TM

That's what I have - be advised, it is not a drop-in part - fitting is required. TM

I don't know. :confused: I took the iron sights off first thing, and went with a mil dot scope. I am zeroed @ 50, and move up 1 dot for 100 yds. Of course that is with 1 specific brand of ammo. Sorry, TM
