  2. looking good!!!
  3. Last Sunday I took a couple of guns over to a new shooting friend's house. My Colt/Umarex OPS, my rolling block .22 pistol and my 94 Winchester. I had a new box of Winchester .22's, I said I'll take these. Well I loaded up the Colt and no action. Either no fire or no extraction. They would hardly chamber in the rolling block also. We reloaded the Colt with CCI and it was butt kickin' time, no issues. This is a new result for me with Winchester, it always did good before. I have a thousand rounds of this stuff on hand. Luckily I have about 6000 rounds of Federal also, so I won't suffer too much.... >:D

  12. andy the chamber is real tight. My advice is to shoot 6-700 rounds thru it and see if it doesn't improve....mine sure did. I loaded her up and just shot it, no aim but to get as many rounds as possible thru it.
  13. Sodom Lane????
  14. I think the ''rebounding economy'' that everyone is raving about has hit a slump. Everyone's gun money is in the gas tank....

  18. I shot off a few rounds of .45 Colt yesterday evening....Hell it can't get more AMERICAN than that! Seriously guys remember those who served to insure our enjoyment of our freedoms, here's to our VETS  and to those eternally young who made the ultimate sacrifice ''SALUTE''!
  19. Most people aren't aware that after a young bird has learned to flap its wings the parents will coax it out of the nest and it is taught to feed on its own. The parents will hide it in brush, etc until it has learned to feed and fly. Unfortunately the odds game begins, and out of a nest of 5 or so, only one might survive. Most young, if seperated from their parents by mishap won't make it on their own, because they haven't learned to feed in the wild. Many of the birds you see in museum aviaries and rescue groups are kept because of their inability to feed in the wild.
  20. Go to Tactical.22.net info page. Click on Resources and download the Colt/Umarex owners manual. There is an exploded view of the internals of the Colt, the HK is an exact copy internally. The barrel is sleeved, with a brazed chamber. This design would not lend itself easily to modification. The person who offered to make a barrel is probably not familiar with this arm....These Walther-made barrels are match-grade with tight match chambers. Many report outstanding accuracy with the right ammo.
