  1. Thor 20003- Glad to see you got one. You will find this is a FUN gun! I bought mine the first week they came out, and S&W had a $50.00 rebate going on for the M&P pistols. I sent my rebate form in the next day, and the next week the website had excluded the 15/22P from the rebate. But I got a check from them a month later. $422.00 less $50.00 was $372.00 out the door....I have 5 mags, it ain't enough!!! This gun will throw the lead! I ordered mine online thru Bud's gun shop.
  2. Them paws have huge palms and little fingers LOL.
  3. Sounds good! You're at the right place!!!welcome
  4. I have the M4 OPS and really like it. I also have the hots for the HK 416 P. From the look at the insides, the style is the only difference....
  5. Gosh I hope Charming doesn't go under.... >:D I know Mr. Wipple bit the dirt.
  6. that would be M8 X .75 . You can buy a thread adapter for around $26.00 that will adapt the metric threads to 1/2''X28, so any standard AR accessory will spin right on. I got mine at tacticool22.com.
  7. Joe I just went to the website and looked at the manual- this HK is a carbon copy of the Colt on the inside.....
  8. I would be very surprised if they were too different....
  9. Good Luck, Ski...
  10. Oh hell, stuff 'em in..... :o
  11. Nah Smurff, I have a DPMS cover and it is an exact switch, but it doesn't latch either....
  12. Sounds good to me....I posted in this thread about .22 case dimensions, surprisingly there are differences, and Remington .22 was really out there...
  13. sit down with the rifle and clean it well, spray a slight amount of oil in the mechanism, (not the chamber). Then fire the rifle until you have run 6-700 rounds thru it. Just reload the lite strikes into the mag again and keep shooting. The gun will loosen up and smooth out. If you are not comfortable with this send it back. The turnaround time is real good, I hear. Some of these Colts are finicky about their ammo, these Walther barrel chambers are TIGHT. Mine will now shoot Federal bulkpak like candy....
  14. make sure the area of the mag latch that actually holds the mag doesn't have a burr or snag that prevents the latch from withdrawing from the mag. Do you have multiple mags? Do you have the problem with every mag? If you do it's the mag release and not the mags. I'd look very closely at the latch ''travel'' and insure that it is withdrawing far enough.... you know, the magwell alignment may be slightly ''off'' between the upper and lower causing a slight binding of the mags when inserted. A little filework would probably cure it if so.... Just a few thoughts.
  15. I put a DPMS cover on mine- still does'nt latch. It did when new.
  16. I saw the ladie's room trash can contents dumped into a cart like that at a bus station one time..... :vom:
  17. back in the 70's there was a bumper sticker you could buy that said ''watch MY rear end not HERS'' ..... >:D

  20. I have a Laserlyte bore sighter- it does .22 to .50 cal. Works quite well, the guys at work wear me out doing their guns too. The adapters that center it in the barrel are plastic, I don't think I've damaged anything so far....I got it at Wallyworld, $40.00 .....
  21. SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAD A GOOD TIME....
  22. Looks like you had a blast!
  23. The Leapers red/green dot scope has a built-in base that clears the front sight, $69.95 at Amazon.com.
