Here in central Virginia there are a few places I see frequently that have strange names that noone seems to know the origins of- One is Toe Ink Wayside, a roadside picnic area that even the highway dept doesn't know where that one came from. Another is Jackass Flats, about 5 miles east of Toe Ink. Skinquarter is another place name that's kind of weird....

I ordered mine direct from Harford engraving. They also custom engrave the lowers with about anything you would want. Ejection port covers, dog tags, etc.

The lever will work fine but its not a drop-in fit, it requires a little filework. -
send the sobs to live with them....

Here is a photo of my 6 7/8'' target Ruger. This is the civilian version of this pistol, which has a different twist than the government version. For you guys looking to get into target shooting this is an EXCELLENT start-out pistol. Cheap to buy, cheap to shoot and SIMPLE to maintain. These guns will shoot better than the shooter can...These guns have been made in a zillion different versions and can be seen on Ruger.com. The street prices are quite a bit lower than the suggested retails. A good research and study guide is Duncan Long's Ruger .22 automatic pistol guide which gives good info thru the Mark II series. Somewhat dated, but covers a lot of info. The new Mark III is a great series of pistols, if you can look at the new Mark III Hunter with the fluted barrel and not be interested then .22 shooting is not for you! LOL If YOU have one JOIN US and post it up!

Here's my latest stopping point- many of my mods are do-it-myself.LOL I started out with hollowing the factory stock with ATI recoil pad. The stock sloppiness mod done to the tube. My scope is a Leapers red/green dot. An engraved dust cover from Harford engraving. My triggerguard is a Magpul polymer replacement. The charge handle has a tactical lever installed. Not shown is my Coast tactical lite and UTG front handgrip. I installed a 1/2''X28 TPI thread adapter turned down to fit inside a 5'' reverse flash hider. This covers 3 1/2'' of the barrel giving the gun a shorter appearance. The furniture was shot with Krylon Fusion Olive Drab which has held up extremely well. -
