Possibly you were shipped a recoil spring for a 2 3/4" only Ithaca model? Incorrectly packaged from the factory?

Looks great. There are fat rubber bands used for securing pressure switches. Much better than Velcro or tape.

On another day this week a man comes in and after talking awhile he gets around to telling me about his pocket gun. I asked to take a look. It was a cheap Cobra Enterprises.38spl. Derringer. He explained how he carried it when shark fishing and would drop a couple.357 mags into it to dispatch the shark. I decided not to contradict him and lose a possible sale. But he obviously doesn't shoot .357s through it or shark fish.

A guy came in a little while ago to look at 9mm pistols and brought his knowledgeable buddy for guidance. Among the pistols he looked at was a beautiful 1972 Browning P35. I stated it was designed by who many consider the greatest gun designer to ever live, John M. Browning. The buddy pipes up that he'd have to disagree. I asked who he thought was better and he said Samuel Colt. I asked why and he said because Sam Colt designed the Colt 1911 .45. I couldn't help but giggle. Lost that sale after correcting him.
