  1. They are so addictive. Thank God 22 ammo is so cheap.
  2. Interestingly the "mainstream press" the old print media is justifiably dying. With the current instantaneous TV media the ttuth actually comes out more often and quicker since each outlet is dying for the "scoop". I believe we are getting more accurate coverage now due to the massive competition and the open and freely available access the intenet provides. If on eoutlet covers up or lies the others are ready to jump all over the offender and point out the "truth".
  3. With the media it is the way of the world. Nothing can be done about it to change it sadly.
  4. Love both the car and the plane.
  5. Which ever way you go the E2 grip is to die for. I am surprised it took SIG this long to bring it out. It feels like a well worn bar of soap in your hand.
  6. Me too. I get so sick of fair weather NRA members. We all know the type. They are the idiots that drop their membership because the NRA supports a politician that also supports abortion or something else they do not like. Well it is none of the NRA's business if the politician advocates for abortion, or genetic euthanasia or anything else for that matter. They do not care about a politicians beliefs beyond there support for the Second Amendment. And neither do I. Frankly I do not give two craps what a politician supports as long as they are a strong/documented Second Amendment supporter they get my support!!!
  7. Gotta love SIG for making the P226 available across multi caliber lines. Others could take a lesson here.
  8. I know of AR's that do the exact same thing. As long as the hammer is not striking the firing pin I would not worry too much about it. Have it checked out.
  9. Since they are a P226 lower you can get a 9mm and a 40 cal uppers and just simply replace the 22LR upper and using the correct magazines have three guns in one.
  10. I just picked up a P226 22LR today, cleaned and lubed it and burned thru 250 trouble free rounds. WOW is all I can say.
  11. Politico has some pretty weird ideas both pro/con depending upon your point of view.
  12. I can see it as a pistol but the sliding stock will never pass muster.
  13. At one time I had both but I liked the Smith better and dumped the Colt. Also the Smith was more accurate. To each their own.
  14. Also the S&W breaks down more in line with the real AR's. IMHO Colt foolishly overcomplicated the mechanism. Keep It Simple. I have owned and operated both. I kept the S&W and sold the Colt. Pretty much answers that. The Colt was not my cup of tea. Polymer vs Aluminium is really a non issue for many as the polymer has had no documented troubles.
  15. Not surprised but sadly they are rich enough that no matter what gun owners do it will be symbolic only. We can have no real effect on the companies bottom line. I don't use them now so I won't miss anything, just sayin.
  16. Your welcome and I completely agree here. Mine coughed and sputtered with this ammo. Federal and CCI went thru like crap thu a goose.
  17. S&W manual of arms is light years better than Colts.
  18. Clean and lube. Shhot like crazy. Generally I keep a can of compressed air to blow out the debris every 100 rounds or so and keep shooting. 22's are pretty dirty shooters.
  19. I am glad I am not the only one that has happened to. Mine was buying a Llama Omni 9mm pistol. What a piece of excrement. It was so bad I had it ground up because I refused to sell such a crap heap.
  20. I'v known her family for over 25 years. They own a leather manufacturing facility in OKC and have been a law enforcement supplier for decades. Great people.
  21. Sounds good to go to me.
  22. Thats good and bad. The phrase "concerns are being addressed" worries me. Having worked in the political process that means that they will sit back and reword the bill in order to get what they wanted in the first place and make it so the naysayers look like they are in favor of drug mules. It is typical political processing. Make the naysayers look like they support the drug mules to marginilize them. Sadly it is VERY common in legislatures.
  23. Excellent. I spent fours years there getting my degree.
  24. If it is not the Wanamacher show in Tulsa I don't even waste time at the Fairgrounds shows anymore. Prices are too high and quality is too low. The rare deal is not worth the effort to search out. IMHO.
