  1. Finally....Found it...Only 12 came up on Gun Genie, and I just put my order in. Probably have it this weekend.. ;D http://www.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/pistols/plr-22/ Now I've got to get the hand rest for the muzzle, so I can shoot 2 handed, extra mags...Damn Drew..This stuff doesn't end.. ;D

    LOL!

    You're killing me rodent....
  3. Yep, they met...I'm just sitting on the net, trying to be the 1st one to sign up...
  4. Got me!!! ;D
  5. I hear ya..I've got a custom made Jim Triggs, and the prices are all over the place. When you get into the custom luthier stuff, your market will definitely be the geeks like me. Definitely easier to move a Gibson or a major brand, but the market is there for custom Luthiers. I'm still waiting to hit the lottery, so I can call Bob Benedetto and order a Manhattan model for $20K. ;D But that's the thing. Bob's stuff starts at about 3K and on up to the Manhattan model. Do your homework, and you should be way ahead of the game. I'd probably go Ebay rather than Craig's list, with a high end guitar like that. You will get more exposure..
  6. After doing some searching Tomas Borboria is a custom Luthier. Like many other custom guys, they make everything from "Player" type guitars, to the ultra high end stuff. Can't find specific pricing on the TC14 model, that is on the label of your pics. But from what I gather his low end stuff starts out at about $1750 and goes up from there to several $1000's. (Around 7 to 10K.) I'd contact him directly if. He's the builder and can probably give you a better idea on the TC14 model. Here's his Facebook http://www.facebook.com/BorobiaGuitars Here's his web site. http://www.latticeguitar.com/index.html This may take the right buyer, (Guitar Geeks like me..)...But they're out there.. If I didn't already own a Ramirez R4 Classical, I might think about it. Let me know if you need anything else.

    Love it!!!
  9. Yep...That's the one..They're having their meetings today..Can't say I wont miss blowing gun powder out of my nose for a couple of days, after shooting at my local indoor range... ;D Thanks MicroGunner. 8)
  10. The reason we have to barricades around elevator openings, even when we're right there working on them... People see the open elevator door, assume the elevator is there, step into an open hole if the barricade is not there, and if one goes the other geese will follow. I've seen them move the barricade trying to "Catch" the elevator. We always close and lock all hatch doors, when not on the site, even with barricades...The "Public" consists of all types..

Too bad they didn't get all of them.. ;D
  12. Yep...Jersey Village is a long way from Seabrook. I'll let you know, but I'm fixing to join a gun club on this side of town, if they decide to take in new applicants..If so..I'll give you a shout..Maybe shoot a little one weekend..

;D Except "work boots" implies there actually might be work... ;D My brother just called. He survived yet another layoff today, but not the paycut.. Things just keep getting better and better..
  14. I've got a 6500 watter..Will keep the lights on and the frig... I've been thinking about a 30KW natural gas generator. Comes with a transfer switch and automatically when sensing a loss in power, cuts you off from the light company, and transfers to your natural gas generator fed by the gas lines.. It's nice to run everything, including AC.. The price is the big concern, when you start comparing number of times you're going to use it... But ever since hurricane Ike, that 3 weeks running off a generator, waiting in gas lines, etc..Sure does make you think about forking over the bread.. http://www.generac.com/Residential/

Great story Drew... Go ahead Asmurff...I like crass political stories.. ;D
  16. Glock went after S&W a few years back, and the result is the Sigma. http://www.notpurfect.com/main/sigma.html I'll admit to it...I own a S&W 40 cal Sigma. NOT once has this gun failed in ANY way..And that is with just target ammo run through..Even Blazer Brass..(A guy at the range gave me a box of 100..Said it wouldn't eject out of his Sig) All 97 remaing rounds of Blazer Brass fired failure free out of the Sigma. Not one failure, after about 2000 rounds. The damn 11 lb trigger pull is the only drag on this gun. Every shot is like shooting double action.. Does spoil you when you get used to the 4 to 5 lb. Berreta, FNH, etc.. pull..
  17. Now that's a deer gun!!!! ;D
  18. Yep M.H. Down in Seabrook.. What part of town are you in?
  19. Thanks MadHouse... Yeah..we had a class of 11 1st timers, and 2 renewals...Us 11 watched jealously as the renewals got to leave about 1/2 way through... ;D
  20. I've been looking and am thinking about the Weatherby Mark4, or a Remington 700, but going with the old addage... A little bit do a little good, a lot do a lotta good.....Well...I came across this and got to thinking...Wonder if it will take down a white tail.. ;D
  21. Well...It's done..The longest Saturday ever. We started at 7:30 in the morning. Talked about gun safety, course objectives. Then off to the range.. On a B27 target you had to shoot a minimum of 170. I scored 250.(Perfect.)..Not as impressive as it sounds. Perfect score is anything in the 8 ring, from 3, yards, 7 yards, and 15 yards. We only had one nail driver, all 50 shots in the 10 ring. I'm not the nail driver.. ;D Then it was back to class, for the MANDATORY 10 hours class. Laws, responsibilites, liabilities, and on and on. About 7:30 that night, we walked out of there, and I have my certificate for completion of the course. The instructor kept things lively in the classroom, and was very good, but 10 hours is 10 hours.. ;D Anybody have any questions about Texas handgun law, as of this point my aged mind has it in place. Interesting class..All kinds of people from an engineer at NASA, offshore helicopter pilot. couple of married couples. 11 total. Something I didn't know. State of Texas you can legally keep a loaded handgun in your vehicle, WITHOUT a CHL. I will definitely think about that the next time I get the urge to flip somebody off, that cut me off on the freeway.. ;D
  22. Good to hear Rodent..Hopefully they'll get the lights back on..That's the part that sucks..
  23. Glad to hear you made it Drew..Thank god it was just a baby..
  24. Yep...Headquarters are there...I'm remotely stationed in Houston.
  25. As a long time Gulf Coast resident, I feel for you..Hang in there..The storm is usually not the real bad part. It's the aftermath. No electricity. Hence no food, no gas, no traffic lights, fallen trees..That's the part that sucks...And evacutating can be a nightmare as well, if you decide to go that route.. Hurricane Rita, 27 hours to get to Austin, a 180 mile trip. And ALL kinds of people sharing the roadway with you. Hang in there Drew, and let us know as soon as you can that you guys are doing well.... Talked to headquarters, and they're battening down the hatches in Bloomfield, but I think they'll be allright as far inland as they are.. Hang in there!!!
