imschur Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 I have had this pistol for a long time. If I recall correctly the difference between the Centurion model and the 92F is the length of barrel extending out the slide.. The Centurion is shorter than the 92F
Microgunner Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 I've handled several and never did figure out what made them a Centurion. I believe they trade for a little more than the regular 92FS.
asmurff Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 My regular 92FS the barrel protrudes 3/8 of an inch. Other than that I I've no idea if they are any different
bdavison Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Beretta's are nice, but I hate that they have a tendancy to toss hot brass right behind my glasses.
FS2KSTD Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 My first new SA pistol was a Beretta 92FS ... I wanted to be Martin Riggs SO bad!
imschur Posted November 8, 2010 Author Report Posted November 8, 2010 My first new SA pistol was a Beretta 92FS ... I wanted to be Martin Riggs SO bad! Can I be Roger Murtaugh
asmurff Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 I really like my 92FS, accurate easy to care for, but forget concealing it unless your a very big person or it's winter coat time.
imschur Posted November 8, 2010 Author Report Posted November 8, 2010 I really like my 92FS, accurate easy to care for, but forget concealing it unless your a very big person or it's winter coat time.you called me fat
asmurff Posted November 8, 2010 Report Posted November 8, 2010 :o Did not! I know an ex Marine gunny who carries one all the time in a vertical shoulder rig under a loose shirt, but he is tall enough you don't even notice it.
imschur Posted November 8, 2010 Author Report Posted November 8, 2010 Just doing what my old lady would have done to me
bdavison Posted November 9, 2010 Report Posted November 9, 2010 I have the pulp fiction gun...In the movie, it looks like a 1911, but its actually a stainless steel Star 9mm.Little known fact....Hollywood uses the Star 9mm's in most movies requiring a 1911, because they feed blanks easier than a 1911.
FS2KSTD Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Can I be Roger Murtaugh "Do we go on three or .................." ;D
