navydoc8778 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 Good day to all! I am a navy Corpsman at Camp Pendleton, Ca. Just grabbed another 22 and am working on trying to figure out a build for my 8 year old for her first rifle.

navydoc8778 Posted January 12, 2011 Author Report Posted January 12, 2011 The one my mom got from her grandfather is a bolt gun. She can learn iron/open sight shooting, weapons saftey, and fundamentals of position with it. The one I want to build her is probably going to be based on a ruger action. She asked if I trusted her a few months back and when I told her yes, she asked for a rifle. Damn near made me cry tears of pride!

She has been asking when we are gonna work on the project truck, the jeep, her bike, or anything else she can come up with. I'm thinking the pink TAPCO stock might have to be the first purchase.
