steel609
Very nice Madhouse, that is sharp.I have never owned a Kimber, but currently have 8 1911's. I love them. The 1911 and Hi-Power are by far my favorite platforms.Like imschur, I would like one of thier .22 1911's, but they are kinda pricey. Madhouse
I took this one to the range with me yesterday, it is easily the best shooter in my safe. It can be controlled so easily, shots go where you expect them.I use a Kimber Ultra Carry II as my ccw.
Microgunner
I own one. A Rimfire Target 5". Shoots and looks great.
FS2KSTD
1st Gen Pro CDP owner here. It's my winter carry in a Galco SOB holster. I own a few .45's (Sig P220, HK USP-C) and my Kimber is my favorite to carry.
asmurff
When it comes to the best of the concealable 1911s the Kimbers ranks high on my list along with the Springfileds. Neither of which i can afford right now.
imschur
I was drooling over some very compact Kimbers today at Cabelas. I have an itch now that needs about $2000 to cure.

bikerbill
Two years ago, I decided I wanted a 1911 for carry ... however, the idea of carrying a 2-pound-plus full-size model was out of the question ... I did a little research and then, at the late lamented gun show in Austin, I spotted a NIB Kimber Ultra Carry II in all black for under $700 ... I grabbed it and have never been sorry .. the gun has been perfect since new, is my most accurate weapon at SD distances and beyond and is simply a joy to carry, at 25 oz unloaded ... I recommend them any time I get a guestion at the range and those who followed my advice say they are delighted ... I've heard some complaints on other forums, but for me, there isn't a better gun to carry if a .45 1911 is what you want ...
Madhouse
Nice, bikerbill, I carry one too,
asmurff
Bill I carry one very similar from Citadel the majority of the time, it is right at 2 pounds but I've grown accustom to it. Also very acurate. I do like the Kimbers they makes some of the best looking pistols.
