Longitude Zero
My son and I just got back form our local indoor range. On the rifle range this morning were 9 22LR shooters. My son and I had our S&W 15-22. 2 Henrys, 3 Marlins's and a pair of Sigs. It was really strange that only 22's were on the range this morning. Microgunner
All 22s makes for a great shooting day. No BIG BOOMS.
imschur
Thats cool. .22 is the most popular caliber in the country. It's just taken a long time for most manufacturers to grasp this
Longitude Zero
What is really slick is that you get tired of shooting BEFORE you run out of ammo.
rodent.22
I haven't fired my .223 mini in 2 years- the .22's are cheap and fun to fire...

asmurff
She isn't a member of Tactical .22, and doesn't do much in the way of forums. She is a shooter though and has a XD .45 Springfield in the compact size. However because of how hard and uneven the ground is at our gun club she hasn't been able to go much as it ended up causing pain. So after the hip surgery she should be go to go with our Tactical Rimfire, but I think 3-gun will still be out :o
bdavison
I was at a range in Arizona one time....the guys got to talking about biggest boom from their guns. Some guy had a .4xx something or other that was a thundergun. Firing it would knock paint chips off the metal roof awning.A few minutes later we heard this voice yell out...NO, THIS IS THE BIGGEST BOOM...And then the earth shook and dust was kicking up from the berms 100yds out, the metal roof was dumping paint chips, and two florescent lights came crashing down, with this insanely loud deep BOOOOOOM.We all look around trying to figure out what the heck it was. The range owner had a cannon on the other side of the berm. 1lb of powder charge and he won.
