asmurff
Don't you hate it when life gets in the way of your shooting fun. I bet I haven't been to the range in more than a month and I usuallly go at least once a week. Maybe I should go back to work *NOT* perhaps I could find the time then to go shooting. Between closing down the garden, winterizing the power outdoor machines, prepping the house for winter, I just seem to keep running out of time, or the weather is against me. Maybe next week! rodent.22
yeah I haven't pulled a trigger in about 6 weeks. The weather was really crappy a few weeks ago, my sister died suddenly, and fall projects coming due have put a damper on my shooting time. Microgunner
Bad news about your sister Rodent. Sorry to hear it.Tal, the .357 LCR wasn't built for shooting, it was built for toting. Ouch! Now that you know it works, leave it in the holster. ;D

asmurff
Well I did break the cycle of non-shooting today. I got to the range and put 300 rounds through my 10-22 at 50 yds off hand, boy did I suck in getting into the zone I was after only about 80%, if it had be a human it would have been 100%. Since my 10/22 is set up very similar to my Spikes Tactical ST-15 I'm not down on my results. I do need to start doing more dry fire practice with my rifles instead of just pistols. imschur
asmurff can you shoot a pellet rifle where you live? I found in my youth that a decent pellet pistol and rifle and a place to shoot at home improved my range results. Hell I shot .22 pistol in a trap in my basement. I think Microgunner has a bullet trap next to the plasma tv in the living room ;D
asmurff
I think it is okay. I have a exact replica of the 1911 I carry conceal which is propane operated with the soft pellets which I use in the garage. It is powerful enough to operate the slide on the pistol with authority and damaged the inner covering of my insulated garage door if I miss. I've spent a lot of time and effort to insure I was accurate with a pistol since I got a conceal carry license, but I have neglected my rifle practice. Luclily my gun shops carries a good assortment of air/propane powered guns. I may just have to get one.
