IndigoWolf Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 Wow ... Canada? glad I don't live there.http://thestir.cafemom.com/toddler/133600/4yearolds_drawing_leads_to_dads?quick_picks=1
edgecrusher Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 wow, i wonder if they will be arresting me for harboring unliscensed unicorns and dragons and fairies my daughter draws.
asmurff Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012  @ edgecrusher. It would be funnier if the sad facts weren't in black and white. Governmentneeds to stay out of the daily lives of people.
Microgunner Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 In Canada it appears the parents are only responsible for the care and feeding of the children. The State is responsible for the education, beliefs and values of the children. That was Hitler's philosophy too, wasn't it?
techmike Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 I understand you do not want to drive to Canada with a NRA or other pro gun sticker on your vehicle.
edgecrusher Posted March 28, 2012 Report Posted March 28, 2012 i haven't been since they required a passport to cross the boarder.
Tal Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 I have to go occasionaly for business. The majority are nice people like I've found everywhere else. The government is way to involved in everyday living for my taste.
asmurff Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 I understand you do not want to drive to Canada with a NRA or other pro gun sticker on your vehicle. There are parts of the southwest where a 2A or NRA decal will greatly increase the chances of your vehicle being broken into, so they can hopefully find a gun.I've also read stories of police subjecting people to extra harassment for having those decals on their vehicles.
Microgunner Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 Burglary is the very reason I stopped affixing NRA decals to my cars.
Tal Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 I admire and fully support the NRA and am a proud member. There is one thing that bugs the crap out of me.I got my new NRA hat and the sticker inside says "Made In China". Did not know the NRA was active in China..
asmurff Posted March 29, 2012 Report Posted March 29, 2012 They have gotten a lot of flak about it, do seem to slowly be finding more and more American made products. I hope they eventually make it all items.
Glowin Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 If this story came from the UK the police would have shot the dad at first site ;DCheersGlowin
