techmike Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 OK, Our 10th anniversary is coming up. She has more diamonds than she can wear at one time, and while jewelry is always "acceptable", I am looking for........... Traditional gifts are tin and aluminum... I would not like to see the results if I got her new pots/pans... :oAll suggestions will be considered, except those from Rodent..Thanks guys!TM
Microgunner Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 How about a beautiful aluminum jewelry box for her fine jewelry.http://www.wayfair.com/Uttermost-Chiavari-Box-19354-UM8075.html?refid=FR49-UM8075
asmurff Posted June 2, 2012 Report Posted June 2, 2012 The jewelry box is a neat idea.Or A tin gift card box with reservation paper/tickets to a romantic getaway weekend.
lmao_37 Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 Well if tin is or aluminum is traditional get her a can of beans :o she then can try out her new pots/pans ;D
rodent.22 Posted June 3, 2012 Report Posted June 3, 2012 okay, okay, I'll behave.....since I've been married to the same lovely gal since Lincoln was president I'll tell you the secret to a long happy marriage- Gifts are wonderful, it will make her happy right THEN, but for long-term happiness let her know by your words and ACTIONS that SHE is the most important thing in your life. Bar none. A beautiful woman will stay with the ugliest or poorest guy in the world for better or worse if he will adhere to this simple fact. It has worked for me for 42 years. Congrats on your first 10 years!!! :thumb:
techmike Posted June 3, 2012 Author Report Posted June 3, 2012 Thanks all for the great advice! But, Doug, a can of beans?? You never ever give anything that can be thrown back........
