imschur Posted July 3, 2012 Report Posted July 3, 2012 Crazy weather yet again. We had no snow after Octobers blizzard. That meant know run off. Then all spring up until a few weeks ago we had constant mini monsoons where inches of water fall in a very brief time. Unfortunately that water cant penetrate the ground. We are at a water deficit the likes of which I have not seen so early in the summer.
asmurff Posted July 3, 2012 Report Posted July 3, 2012 Weather is crazy everywhere. Are you getting the scorching heat also? We've had higher than usual temps but not record breaking. I'm sure it will show on my electric bill. The last measurable rain we had at my house was 2 June and it was only .01"
imschur Posted July 3, 2012 Author Report Posted July 3, 2012 yeah we had to nice days but tomorrow begins heat wave 3
98Z5V Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Drew, you should move out to the desert here, with me... :o
asmurff Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Our lack of rain is getting to be depressing, a quarter inch on one day would do my veggies wonders.
Tal Posted July 11, 2012 Report Posted July 11, 2012 Go figure...Last year in Texas we were burning up and in the midst of a historic drought. This year, record rainfall, and temps in the 80's in July...I'm loving it!!
rodent.22 Posted July 12, 2012 Report Posted July 12, 2012 Here in central Virginia it's been hotter than the inside of a cow....
