asmurff Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 I've long wanted to set up an area to practice at home with my bow. It is legal until a neighbor complains, then I'll have to quit. I'm using my shed as a back stop with a piece of plywood to protect the shed for now. I guess I better get hay bales to place behind the target. The plywood only came into play once today and the arrow almost went through a 3/8" sheet of plywood.
imschur Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Start with a .308 then they'll appreciate the bow and arrow.
asmurff Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Posted October 11, 2012 Now that would get me locked up!
Madhouse Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 I've been shooting my new bow in the yard, longest stretch I have is about 70'.
Microgunner Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 I guess I better get hay bales to place behind the target. Get your hay now. With the drought there is predicted to be a hay shortage this winter. We'll be struggling to just find hay for our horses.
asmurff Posted October 12, 2012 Author Report Posted October 12, 2012 Madhouse, I'm jealous, all I can say is all of mine were at least on the target.
rodent.22 Posted October 13, 2012 Report Posted October 13, 2012 your neighbors wouldn't complain about these archers....
asmurff Posted October 13, 2012 Author Report Posted October 13, 2012 No but my wife would object ::)
Tal Posted October 14, 2012 Report Posted October 14, 2012 No but my wife would object ::)Hell...If I could get one of those Archers, I'd be walking around thinking "What Wife?"...
