My LAST baseball game I watched was called by Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese, in 1965. Then the players started being recruited from all over the Earth, I couldn't pronounce their names so to hell with it. 47 years and I've made it just fine.... :beer:

There was a time I was a baseball fan, followed the Reds in NL (lived in Cincinnati during my teen years) and the Orioles in AL (I was born in Baltimore). Just slowly drifted away because I haven't lived in either area for many years. We do try to go to a couple of the local minor league games each year. We have the Albuquerque Isotopes here part of the Dodger's farm system.

Cool, the "Isotopes"? That is very good! I don't follow much during the regular season anymore. I lived in CA for 30 years and went to several Giants games every year. Candlestick was a fun park. We do go the MudHens games here in Toledo. They are a farm team of the Tigers. We have a brand new park in Toledo, and it doesn't cost body parts to go. Too much fun! Mmmm, Hot dogs and peanuts....... :beer:

The local team owner got the name from a "Simpsons" episode. I like it but a lot of people around here were pissed they wanted the new time named the same as the old one the Albuquerque Dukes.
