Just picked up my 22 cal Colt M4 OPS from Wal*Mart.  Is Federal ammo OK?

About 8 months I bought the Carbine model.....I changed the hand guard to a quad rail and removed the carry handle to add my tactical scope.........Over 5000 rounds and not a hiccup using Winchester copper HP 36g and Federal copper hp 36g and 40g round nose......................................1/2" groups at 25yard, 3/4" at 50 yards, and 2 to 4" at 100 yards.

I have not tried the Winchester M22 or the "Improved Remington Golds".......................The regular Rem ammo sucked.

I regularly bore snake with Hoppes #9 at around every 500 rounds and brush out the bolt face and chamber area.....
