asmurff Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 An online ammo site has Federal Auto Match boxes of 325 for $61.99. This is the ammo I like to use in my .22s and have never paid more than $15 for it.
edgecrusher Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 This seems to be online only, I just got several bricks from my lgs for $30
Microgunner Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 We're selling 325 rnd. boxes of Fed Auto Match for $26.
asmurff Posted June 7, 2013 Author Report Posted June 7, 2013 I'd pay $26 if I was low, that is market pressure, not panic gouging.
techmike Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 Got an online add today from J&G Sales, Eley subsonic .22 hp $105/brick. :o
imschur Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 I have been gathering Eley and RWS ammo pretty regularly from Midway. The thing with both of those brands is there are a lot of variations and some cost as much if not more than centerfire ammo per box.I grabbed some of this today. Compared to this.
Tal Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 I'd rather shoot 45 rather than 22, if you got to pay ridiculous prices anyway. Those prices defeat the whole idea of a cheap round 92(22) to practice with.
ravenous464 Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 Cheaperthandirt.com has CCI tactical 375 count for $199.00, lol. Good luck selling that!
techmike Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 Just got two boxes of Federal Auto Match 325 from Natchez for $56, that included $17 shipping. As Asmurff said, no hazmat charge.
mcekim2 Posted August 12, 2013 Report Posted August 12, 2013 1st post, BTW... Anyway, about a month ago, I bought a Remington Golden 525 pack (limit one) at Cabela's for about $24. Yesterday, I picked up 2 boxes (the limit) of CCI Velocitor for about $11/ box. Other than that, I haven't seen any around. My wife and I went to the range a couple weeks ago and sent about 300 rounds down range. She loves to shoot her Baretta U22 Neos and it's tough not to put at least 3-4 mags downrange with my M&P 15-22. Now that she's aware of the scarcity, she's worried about going to the range. Hopefully, things are loosening up. Don't really see it yet.I'm working on reloading a batch of .45's. Next, .357's. I probably won't even bring the .22 to the range next time.
