Damn Algore - I wish we HAD some warming! I get my Colt out and set it on my workbench, and remember how much fun it was to shoot. The club I belong to has an indoor range, but it is only 25 yds. Not much fun when I am used to nailing bulls @ 100yds. What do you guys do in the winter?

Notes to self: Winter Gillie suit; winter rifle wrap; butt warmer; lol. I am in Ohio, which is where I "grew up". But I spent 30 years in Kalifornia. We kept the snow up on the mountains where it belongs. ;D

Not to brag but I can still usually go in the early afternoon here in New Mexico and not freeze anything off, as long as the wind isn't blowing.

Here in CT weve been having cold, wind and snow thats not typical this early in the winter.

In winter I just keep buying stuff for shooting. Should have a completed AR by weeks end. ;D

You better add snowshoes or a snowmobile to that list ... this picture is taken about 30 clicks from our trucks ... way up in the mountains!  ;D

I step out on the porch,(front or rear) and blast away....leave weapon on porch and step into house to warm up..... the advantage to living in a RURAL county.

As mentioned elsewhere I spent a lot of time in the Adirondacks. I loved going shooting after a heavy fluffy snow covered the pine trees. It was almost like shooting suppressed.

Cool stuff guys. I had a buddy that lived outside Beaverton Oregon. He had a shooting bench set up in his family room, and would just open the slider and shoot on his 100 yd range. Snowmobile down range to replace targets.

Course, that was after his wifey left....... Also forgot to mention the reloading bench in the next room.

His wife left for good or just out for a bit???  Reloading bench close to bench rest ... that is convenient!  :thumb:
