Bill I carry one very similar from Citadel the majority of the time, it is right at 2 pounds but I've grown accustom to it. Also very acurate. I do like the Kimbers they makes some of the best looking pistols.

The flash suppressor on my 10/22 use to come loose also, last time I retightened the set screw I put high temp loc-tite on it hasn't come loose since.
