You can, look at your owner's manual, I think it is part # 44 - the firing pin spring. Of course you have to disassemble the bolt, or as Umarex calls it the slide. I cut one coil off that spring, and the reliability increased significantly. Don't forget to clean your mags - they do get dirty and can affect feeding.
Two mags for my Llama minimax 9mm, and a hammer fixture for 1911's. Just received the plunger tube staking tool for 1911s. Looking at laminated stocks for my two Marlin rifles, a 25N and a M25N. (bolt action .22lr & .22WMR) Also looking at a scope mount for the CM2. ;D
Well, my eldest step-daughter just turned 21, and following up on a years-old promise, she got her pick of my (non-carry) handguns. Boy did I get off cheap! She picked my Beretta Bobcat, I also picked up a small safe and broke some HP's out of the ammo locker. She is very happy. ;D
I heard that 31 was chosen to insure that Uzi 32 round mags would be banned. Don't know how accurate that is, but the law remains. A 32 round mag +a gun = a "machine gun", per Ohio law.
Thanks! Those "10 rules for dating my daughter" have been posted in the house for 6 or 7 years! I first ran across them while reading the "Tractor Trilogy". The aforementioned daughter has graduated from HS with honors, has started her freshman term at UofT, and has also moved in with her aforementioned boy friend. Yes, the same boyfriend I dumped a bucket of ice on... ::)
Hang tough - at least you have the state preemption - we just got that in Ohio like 4 - 5 years ago. Before that, driving thru certain towns/suburbs/townships could make one a felon without knowing it. Our state org, Ohioans for Concealed Carry, is in process of suing yet another small town that has ignored the state preemption. So far, we have won every trial, including legal costs. Please keep us advised!
Operation? What's up with that?? I have not noticed any issues with temperature changes/accuracy/POI. Humidity, however, with wooden furniture can be an issue. Speedy recovery Mr. Mouse!
Hey Scooter, Not sure if you know, but the barrel on the Colt/Umarex is a very thin tube inside the aluminum shroud. That would tend to make this project very difficult,I would think. Check the parts diagram in your owners manual.
