My new GSG5SD came in and I picked it up today.

And to top it off my old hunting dog that got out during some really bad weather yesterday, to hide, came home tonight.  I was up all night checking for her.  I drove the surrounding area 4 different times.  I called the dog catcher twice when she didnt come back yesterday.  Shes 12 and I thought she mighta just got off somewhere and passed on, cause this is totally not like her.  My oldest son and my wife have both been beside themselves.  But she came strolling back up this evening and I got a new GSG!!  And all have gotten into better spirits!!

I got to shot one of these at a match the month before last, very nice rifle and pretty quite. My old eyes and the sights would have to come up with a compromise. I hit 5 of 5 steel plate using open sights so the sights are good I'd have to get use to them.

Thanks....now I have to get a rail for the top and figure some way to mount a light to it.  Also gonna give her a new outfit, with an ICS housing.
