Ruined my Rainier hat today :(

Coming back from lunch and getting my new handguns I was heading up the last hill before my work when out of the woods comes two little dogs. Looked like a mix of Pomeranian and taco bell dog. They were running down the double yellow line towards a very busy road. I tried to call them to my truck as "Go for a ride" often works in situations like this. No luck, I was just pressing them towards the busy road of death. I decided to drive like hell and grab the little woman for help. We get to the scene there's another coworker, several young ladies and a truck driver trying to corral the dogs. With our help we got them safely trapped under an SUV. The truck driver on one side and me laying in slush and running water on the othe rside of the SUV. Together me and the other guy managed to get a leash on one dog pretty quick but the second was much more difficult. Little guy was growling, snapping and then licking me. Coincidentally an assistant dog warden was driving by. She called for a net. With the net, an ice scraper and baton we finally were able to move the dog enough to get the second leash on.  Finally got the dogs safely in a vehicle.

Talked to the dog pound today. Not a single call about the dogs. They now assume they were dumped off
