I agree with the garand version, and I get it also along with the M1 carbine. I may yet order a Garand from CMT.

If Congress can force Obama and Clinton to allow the sale and reimportation of these rifles from South Korea, original Garands and Carbines in the US should be plentiful for a year or 3.

Yep!I've always been real big on the originals after my Dad turned me on to them (he carried one in the Pacific Theater in WWII), and I've owned 5 of the originals, so I was very happy with this little .22.

I went with the 10-22 build, far better setup IMO. The Citadel M1 Carbine just has too many cheap parts. The 10/22 replica setup shoots and handles as good as it looks. After all its a 10/22 under the skin.
