Great job, I've tried a couple of times to paint camo projects, but just don't have the patience for doing all the taping. I just stripped a Marlin stock I tried last week because of dumb mistakes in the prep work.

How bout a do it yourself write up on it like what and how did you tape up also what paint and where did you buy it?

Rubbing alcohol

Krylon fusion

Blue painters tape

Rubber gloves

Roll of wax paper

Wipe gun down with alcohol wear gloves to prevent oil from hands getting on it. Layout about a 12" x 12" sheet of wax paper. Get the wide blue tape and lay out on wax paper slightly over lapping each strip. Get a sharpie and draw out camo design. Use a exacto knife cut them out remove tape from other side and place on gun. I usally wait about 10 - 15 minutes before removing tape and them spray with a matte clear coat.

worse than that , it looks like the barrel has a kink in it...

That ain't a kink it's one of them assbackwards barrels. It was an option :)
