rodent.22 Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Vaqueros again... the push dagger I made from an old trailer hitch LOL, I've seen them in books of the old west, but never one on the east coast- so I made my own....Ha!
rodent.22 Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 A brass framed Colt, .44 blackpowder cap and ball- the devil itself to clean LOL
steel609 Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Rodent - Those are some awesome pictures and a great collection of firearms.Very nice. With all the western stuff, are you into the Cowboy Action Shooting?
rodent.22 Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 hi steele609- well I was involved in Cowboy Action Shooting, in the past year I've had one total knee replacement and 3 bouts with a detached retina. This has cut me out of a lot of shoot time, now I've gone red dot scopes and spray and pray...LOL Thanks for your kind remarks about my collection. Nothing too pricy but each one fill a niche in my shooting fun...and no, I wasn't too good a cowboy action shooter!
asmurff Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Excellent rodent.22 that is quite a collection of guns, ammo boxes and other memorabilia. You can definitely frame a picture. Are any of the boxes antiques?
rodent.22 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 Excellent rodent.22 that is quite a collection of guns, ammo boxes and other memorabilia. You can definitely frame a picture. Are any of the boxes antiques?Hi Smurff- 3 of my 4 boxes I did myself, the Hazard powder box was a small Budwieser box from Busch Gardens, the H&R box was a large Budwieser box from Busch Gardens, and the Wells Fargo box was made from a wooden ammo box ( with a deer picture) from WalMart. The large Winchester box was a gift from my bride about 20 years ago. They were a lot of fun to make....I keep them out in my den, Thanks for the kind words.... ;D
rodent.22 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 A couple of derringers, a Bond Texas Defender in .45 Long Colt or .410 and a Cobra .22 magnum. The Bond is a lot of fun, it's so heavy recoil is not too bad, shooting the .410 shells thru it is really a lot of fun....

Cyclone Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 This picture came to be due to a member of my Motorcycle Club posting a pic of a couple of pistols on his Humidor. Soon everyone was posting things like this. If nothing else a Cigar goes great with a day of shooting :thumb:

FS2KSTD Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Have you seen a recent photo of her?Last picture I saw of her from this summer showed the "thickness" ... she definitely hasn't been missing any meals lately! When Willy was in it she was semi-attractive though. Don't quote me on that though or I'll deny it!
