techmike 1 Report post Posted September 3, 2009 Well, I don't have a 10-22. But there isn't a Ruger Model 96 thread, so I'll post the pic here! :D I really like the 96, great ranch gun - it is basically a lever action 10-22. Same mag, stock, fit, feel and great accuracy. Put a Tasco variable power scope on it and that works very well! I bought it used, and there was also one in .22 mag - wish I had got that one also!TM
Microgunner 2 Report post Posted September 4, 2009 It's not a Ruger exactly. It's a Volquartsen. I own (2). This one in .17HM2 and another in .22lr. The 10/22 is the most versatile rimfire rifle in existance.

rodent.22 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2009 I've actually got a 10/22, somewhat modded. Barrel cut to 16'', an A2 suppressor, ATI Draganov stock, Leaper scope, 25 round clip, shoots very well.
imschur 2 Report post Posted November 4, 2009 That's pretty neat. I haven't seen a 10-22 setup like that before.

RudyN 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2010 Here is my standard 10/22. I have put Tech Sights on it and will probably get a nice stock and after market barrel soon. I have a few parts to do some internal modifications on the way.
snakeeater77 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2010 Going to replace the stock here shortly, just don't know which one yet.
imschur 2 Report post Posted April 5, 2010 Have you seen the 10/22 page at my other site? About 1/3 of the way down I gathered up some small images and links of various 10/22 stocks. Some links go directly to the manufacturers others to places to purchase them. Anyhow maybe it will help.

RudyN 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2010 The front sight is the Tech Sights AR type sight along with their AR type rear sight. I am stuck with 10 round magazines as I live in California. I would like to buy some 25 rounders if that ever becomes possible here.
asmurff 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2010 TY Rudyn, my 10/22 is one of my great sources of amusement both shooting a tinkering. I thought the 10 round magazine didn't apply to .22 rifles in CA?
RudyN 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2010 I will have to recheck on 10 rounders for a .22. That was just an assumption in my part and I hope I am wrong in this case.
asmurff 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2010 Well since you already made is scary looking which is enough to make a CA liberal pee their pants you might as well make really scary >:D
RudyN 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2010 If that is scary wait until they see my two ARs and AK47, not counting my C&R rifles and my hand guns
