asmurff Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Hey I understand, I live next door in New Mexico.
lmao_37 Posted June 30, 2010 Author Report Posted June 30, 2010 does that make you nearly a Texan ? :o
asmurff Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Nope, I've only lived in Texas for 12 weeks. Six for basic training at Lackland Air Force Base (San Antonio), and another six for the Non-Commissioned Officer's Academy a Bergstorm Air Force Base (Austin). I spent my life until 40 roaming around the country and world first as a military brat then in the military. As an adult I just always seemed to end back up in New Mexico. I've been here for 14 years now, with another 7 years during other times here. So even though I was born in Maryland I considser myself to be a New Mexican. Only lived maybe two years in Maryland, and that includes vacations.
lmao_37 Posted July 1, 2010 Author Report Posted July 1, 2010 i haven't spent much time in new Mexico only time was to go and see billy the kids grave at fort Sumner and a trip to Roswell (i just had to go) funny thing was i got a bumper sticker for my step dads van it said ''are we there yet'' with a picture of a UFO i stuck on the back of his van i thought it was funny should have seen the other drivers faces when they saw it :o
asmurff Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 You should go when the UFO Convention is in town, funniest thing you'll ever see.
Microgunner Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Congratulations on making it a year. Now call all your British buds and let them know you've not been gunned down in a street shootout (as many of your countrymen have been led to believe would happen). Be sure to tell them you can buy any firearm you want, as many as you want and you can leave them just lying around the house.
lmao_37 Posted July 5, 2010 Author Report Posted July 5, 2010 ok mate ill have to go one day just to see the odd balls :o
