I would go for the Steyr Aug and an HK PM7. I have fired the real deal of both weapons and they are fantastic.

22's are the dirtiest ammo known to man. Possibly the gun needs a bore brush or possible a light field cleaning of the internals.

You almost need a technicians license to program that darn thing. It is complicated but worth it if that is what you are into. Due to the public safety agencies moving into trunked radios programming a scanner is infinitely moe complex than 10-20 years ago. Not to mention that many of the agencies now encrypt their radios so scanners are useless. Good Luck.

I don't get the concern over proprietery mags. A Kahr CW45 mag wont fit anything but a Kahr CW45, so what is the big deal???

Excellent review. I had a Colt Ace and I for one am very glad Umarex stayed away form that nasty piece of work.

Some love them and some hate them. On my tactical weapons I use them. Now on my deer rifles nope.

I always use Federal. But 22LR is a dirty round and even with Federal ammo it will foul eventually if not cleaned.

Many areas are not predicted to be dry until at least June. Also if you are downstream from a large snowfall area the runoff witl also contribute to your misery.

I have had the pleasure twice and it is a VERY imposing and magnificent structure.
