Hey this is Zac. I have been interested in tacticals 22s because i am looking for something that looks cool but is cheap to shoot. How is the accuracy on these rifles particularly the colt series?

Welcome Zac. My Colt is reasonably accurate, easily minute of squirrel, and pure fun to shoot on a budget. And you can do dad them up anyway you like. It's a firearm that delivers maximum grins with minimum regrets. You'll like it.

Micro gunner thanks for the info. I have one other question and that is how would you compare the accuracy of the M4 colt 22lr to the ruger 10/22 or a marlin .22?

I'll assume you're speaking of the Marlin mod. 60. I'd say they're all three on a par with one another. If you're looking for a real bargain the Marlin can't be beat with the Ruger hot on it's heels. The Colt M4-22s weren't built to be a bargain, but rather to satisfy the the wants of many shooters who can afford them and desire them. Bargain wasn't in the formula for the Colt, with the exception of ammo costs.

Hopefully that will be enough to convinve my dad. You see there's this bet going on where i get a 3.5 or higher in college and then he said let know what 22lr you want and we'll order..... guy is a bit opinionated.
