quiet on the web today, at least places I visit

All day Saturday I was sitting on the review board for a belt rank exam at our karate school.

It's been sloppy here with precipitation this weekend, so no range trips.    >:(

I had an operation on my spine fortnight back which will see me fiddling around the house until January,by which time I will be climbing the walls.

I am having to be careful not to lift anything so I have had to leave the guns alone and have missed out on a couple of range days.

Currently adding all my CD's to iTunes, so far got 4 days worth of music downloaded. My wife was not so happy when she realised that it was mostly only my music I was adding. Never mind, soon be back at work.

Yelp that one looks like it died about March of this year. For some reason not many woodworking forums manage to hang on for to long.

Well, yeah. We (woodworkers) tend to lose too many fingers - tends to cut down on keyboard activity, don't ya know.

Buy an iPod just for her and tell her to leave yours be. iPods are too personal to share.  :thumb:

Hows your back?

I had some problems as a youth the left me with 6 inches of stainless steel attached to my spine.

When your spine is messed with you quickly learn that every body part movement is reflected on the spine. I think even blinking my eyes hurt at that time.

I was in agony for two weeks with my back. Morhpine and Demerol for the first week. Took about a month to feel great. Age was important, probably take twice as long today.

I hope your recovery is fast.

I feel for anyone who suffers from back pain ... I have dealt with it for more than 10 years now and can honestly say it is one of the most debilitating, frustrating injuries I've ever had. It's just not possible to even function normally if you don't have a healthy back. To think I used to believe people complaining about back pain were whiners; boy did I learn the hard way, that was not the case.  :-[

Hope you heal up quick and the surgery fixed your back issues Dangermouse.
