Hello from the Burbs.

Hi I live in the Northwest Chicago suburbs.

I am a middle-aged guy with a wife and two kids, my primary passion is bowhunting. Shooting and hunting with a gun run a close second.

I belong to a private gun club in Northwest Illinois, not too far from where my camper is permanently parked so I am able to shoot once or twice a month depending on the time of year.

Living near a big city the opportunities for rifle shooting are slim. I started shooting a handgun at 20 years old and for the majority of my adult life I shot handguns almost exclusively.

Now I shoot .22's 90% of the time. First was a Henry standard model, so much fun to shoot and by my standards, very accurate.

Next came a Ruger MkII that now has somewhere around 5000 rounds through it with no mechanical malfunctions. Afew dud rounds but never a FTF, or FTE.

My latest .22 favorite is my Sig 522. Simply a great .22 autoloader.

Rimfire shooting is a great way to practice marksmanship and for me, a great way to spend time with the kids plinking away the hours.
