Sam 8 Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 hello,Sam 8 from the northeastern area of the People's Republic of Kalifornia.Retired guy with some disabilities, I love to shoot, play with guns, and fiddle with the internal combustion engine bolted into just about anything. I have done a couple of 10-22's and still have my favorite, stock internals dropped into a Hogue Overmolded with a BC .920 fluted triported barrel and a 4.5x14 mueller. It eats anything and can hit pretty regular to 200 yards, which seems to surprise some folks. I'd like a Kidd trigger group but after a couple thousand rounds I am not sure I want to mess wth it.Now I am saving for a tactical, leaning towards the Colt but not sure yet. I was certain I needed a Sg Mosqutio until all these cool little rifles started hitting the market. Now, I still know I need the Sig, I just think I need another rifle first...
rodent.22 Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 HIya Sam8....the Colt is a lot of fun, I've had the OPS for some time.
asmurff Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 Glad you joined us, as an amateur 10/22 tinkerer I'll be interested in what you say. :thumb:

Sam 8 Posted May 12, 2010 Author Report Posted May 12, 2010 Thanks for the welcome, guys.Asmurff, I am no expert on the little Ruger either; opinions on these things are like belly buttons, you know?Everybody's got one. I have mine and will share when it makes sense, but I've built far more small block chevy V-8's than I have 10-22's and I am still learning about those, too.
a|ex Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 hey sam,i have a sig but want to expand my collection. if you haven't yet read about the mk22, that would be something to try out. unfortunately, it's not yet released.-a|ex
