Longitude Zero
Here in the middle of the country where that weather is more common we are seeing highs in the mid 80's.

Microgunner
I live in Florida so I can help you cope. This is what Floridians do. We sit naked under an A/C vent and sip a favorite chilled beverage. That's why it takes us so long to answer the door.

Madhouse
You know here in Houston we deal with that all summer long 100+ degrees and it's so humid walking is more like swimming. But, I just got back from Redlands, CA, just an hour east of L.A. and it was awesome out there - 70's during the day and 50's at night, and almost no humidity. I could've stayed there until October! :thumb:
bikerbill
Trying to be sympathetic ... last year in my neighborhood (central Texas) it was over 100 degrees 80 days! Could barely drag myself to the refrigerator for a beer, tho I did get out to the range when the temp cooled into the high 90s ... Call Al Gore for help ... asmurff
Did you snag any of them walking fish. I've spent most of my adult life in arid climates, but a few years back when I was driving school buses I went to NJ for the summer to stay with my Mom because my Dad was working out of the country. Well the humidity almost did me in a couple of times, specially when out taking my walks.
lmao_37
Did you snag any of them walking fish.i didn't see 1 or i would have snagged it lol, i know what you mean about humidity i gets very humid here especially when its going to rain and i hate the humidity but it is something i have to get use to, i enjoy riding my mountain bike alot but i cant go cross country at the moment as the weather is so changeable here and we are still in tornado season and thunder storms just come out of no where and beat the crap outta the place and disappear just as quick. techmike
When I resided in Sacramento, the temp was usually triple digit most of the summer. Didn't really bother me - it truly was a "dry" heat. Now I am in Ohio, where the summer temps usually are matched by the humidity. Sucks.TM
rodent.22
105 in Richmond yesterday, the humidity was about the same....
